I think it's too early to surmise just where this team will find itself in the standings in March or April. However, if they continue to grow and maintain their confidence, being in the top 8 in the conference may not be as "unrealistic" as many believe. It is unrealistic to think they can win every game or keep at this sort of clip all of the time, yet these are the strides we have so badly desired this club to take.

Yes, Tambellini has certainly begun to show the talent and ability we have heard about so much. Personally, I am glad to see it, as I have been pulling for the guy. JT, I think is only going to get better and better, and if we can get the other guys to step up consistently, we can have four lines that pose a threat to our nightly opposition.

As for Witter, offensive explosions are not going to be a nightly thing. Nevertheless, let us not underestimate the importance of him playing well and becoming a force with Sutton. If we can stay healthy and maintain a consistent lineup, the defense and the goaltending will be a serious strongpoint for us as the season unfolds.

One step at a time, though. Let's be ready for the Sabers and try to take the game away from them before they can utilize their speed and quick pass system to overwhelm us.

    Feel better, G.
