There is a place called “Duffs” on Millersport in Cheektowaga. It is the REAL place for wings. Forget about the Anchor Bar. That place is such a tourist trap – and the wings are just not as good. My suggestion, if you like them REAL HOT, like I do, you have to get the hottest level. You will be glad you did. Actually, your insides will hate you for at least 72 hours.
Anyway – think the Isles went there for pregame meal? They just did not look like the guys that were so dominant over the last week. Especially in the faceoff circle – where they did the reverse over the last few games. 
The hitting was just not there; the aggressiveness was not happening. However, Marty Biron got into it. Defending his fellow player… I love this guy.]
There were just no positives to really talk about. The only thing maybe, is the continued maturation process of Jack Hillen. He has grown by leaps and bounds, ever since he returned to the lineup. Freddy is expendable, and Jack is a much younger player.
Back home to practice today, for a meeting with the Devils in Newark tomorrow and a home affair on Saturday with the Kovalchuk and Lehtonen-less Thrashers. Then the ROAD TRIP begins.

There are actually three convenient Duff locations in the Buffalo area, the original on Millersport, on in the Southtowns near Ralph Wilson Stadium and a new location on Harlem near the Galleria Mall.
I have not been to the Harlem location yet, but the Southtowns location is just as good, so I am sure the standards are the same as well.

I have to agree with you. Anchor Bar is highly overrated, and nothing more than a tourist trap. Compared to Duffs, AB wings seem very pigeon like.

I have heard from friends that live in Lancaster, that there is now one over by Dick Road in Depew. So that is now 4?
I know that there are 2 in T.O.
I miss those wings.
