No worries on where John Tavares will be spending the next six years after this one is over…
According to multiple sources, a press conference will be held tomorrow in which will be officially announced the center John Tavares will be signing a six year extension, believed to be an average cap hit of 5.5 million a year.
A great thing for the Islanders and the continued growth of young talent, which excites GM Garth Snow.
“We want John to be a part of this organization for a long time,” Snow said to ESPN New York by phone Wednesday morning. “I don’t think there has been any deviation from that plan for either party in that regard.”
