Some, including myself, have wondered why Leopold has not found a consistent home in the NHL, having played for 6 different teams over the course of his 10 year career.

Jordan has proven to be a valuable addition on the offensive side of the puck while playing 20-22 minutes per game in all the cities he has hung up his gear. After scoring 9 goals in just his 2nd year playing professionally, he really flourished later down the line in Buffalo, putting up consecutive years of 13 and 10 goals. With 34% of his goals and 32% of his points coming on the power play in his career, he could be a very adequate replacement for the departed Mark Streit.

Defensively is where many feel Leopold needs some work. He has only been a positive player 4 times in those aforementioned 10 seasons and could also come with some durability issues. He has missed 20% of his games over 10 years including seasons of 82, 48 and 29% missed.

Projected armchair GM offer : 3 years, 12mm
