Welcome to New York Islanders GIFS of the Week, a weekly post dedicated to highlighting some of the best goals, saves, hits, and celebrations.

It’s been quite the week for Islanders hockey since last week. The Isles went 4-0 since their loss to the Carolina Hurricanes last Saturday and have now extended their road win streak to seven straight games; the first team in the National Hockey League to do so this season. It was also a week for firsts, as you’ll see below, the monkey is off a couple players backs now.
