Making The Grade: Our Entire Progress Report for the New York Islanders

Middletown, N. J – What a year it was and how it just flew by. Friends, as well as enemies, were made in the hallways, cafeterias, and specifically on the ice, where the New York Islanders spend their days honing their skills, attempting to position themselves for the day they too can emulate the Chicago Blackhawks and lift the Stanley Cup.
With peer pressure seemingly lurking in every corner, it proved easy for most to stay on track with their studies and continue their ascension through the program. Others, not so much.
We at EyesOnIsles graded each ‘student’ on their five main courses of study : skating, shooting, passing, defense and leadership. (Goalies are grading a bit differently as you will see shortly.)
Along with providing a brief synopsis on why they received the grades they did and offering a recommendation of what the faculty thought, we gave you, the reader, a chance to cast your own vote on whether the player was worthy of promotion or expulsion.
With this exercise now complete, below you will find a summary of the entire class of 2013.
We look forward to seeing most back at class in September, serving the University with passion, pride and spirit.
Others probably will not be as fortunate, forced to transfer to another institution best suited for their current abilities. As is the process during most summers, an evaluation will also be made to see if any exchange students will be added to the class roster.
Hope you enjoyed our little take on college life at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum of Learning.

Greetings Everyone, Rich Diaz here.
It’s quite simple, actually: click on the name below to retrieve the entire player report card.
If you’re arriving to these report cards for the first time, then you’ll still be able to cast your vote for Expelling or Promoting each player. Current results for each poll will be listed at the bottom of the report card.
Again, thank you for all the support and readership this past season.
