Islanders Reveal Winter Classic Logo

The New York Islanders, via a press release minutes ago, announced their logo for the Winter Classic series game that will be played at Yankee Stadium in January against the rival New York Rangers.
The club also announced that full season ticket holders can place an order for their classic jersey (design unavailable at this time) and that a limited number of tickets will go on sale through ticketmaster in a week.

UNIONDALE, NY (November 12, 2013) – The New York Islanders have released their logo for the 2014 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™ game at Yankee Stadium in New York on Wednesday, Jan. 29 at 7:30 p.m.
Full-season ticket subscribers can now place their orders for the exclusive jersey that team captain John Tavares and the Islanders will wear. There is a limited quantity of jerseys available, so reserve your part of New York hockey history today. Full-season ticket subscribers will be contacted via email with detailed ordering instructions.
The Islanders 2014 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™ logo depicts a cutting edge design that keeps the history of the organization associated with this once in a lifetime game. The classic white “NY” lettering with the hockey stick are replicated from the original logo. As seen on the current Islanders logo, the four orange stripes on the stick remain, representing the organization’s four straight Stanley Cup championships. The sleek silver lining around the crest will standout to every fan in the ballpark, whether you’re sitting in the first row or in the bleachers. The National Hockey League also announced today that a limited inventory of tickets will go on sale via Ticketmaster.com, at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21.
