The NHL TV schedule for the week of December 16 is right here and Eyes On Isles has you covered for your viewing pleasure.

Things are not getting much better on Long Island as the Islanders continue to struggle, now having won just 3 of their previous 20 games. The only thing still keeping a faint hope of the playoffs alive is the equally mediocre play of the entire Metropolitan division.

Things do not look that much brighter on the schedule front heading into next week’s Christmas break. A tough week ahead with games against the Lightning, rival Rangers and Ducks followed by a quick trip to Detroit before heading home for the holiday.

The national broadcast schedule looks enticing this week, highlighted by a Friday night matchup between the red hot Vancouver Canucks and reigning Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks. And of course, the week would not be complete without a Saturday doubleheader on the NHL Network.

So sit back in your favorite chair and enjoy a week of exciting NHL action. Please place all your trash in the proper receptacle and rinse your dishes before placing them in the dishwasher.
