As round two commences, it gets tougher as many of the ten remaining combatants now represent the ‘cream of the crop’ as they say, from the outstanding Stanley Cup dynasty teams of 1980-1984.
John Tavares, by far the best Islander on the current team, took an early exit as he faced an impossible randomized match-up with legendary Mike Bossy. Billy Smith won his round by umm…100% and Brent Sutter was involved in the closest race, beating Pierre Turgeon 56-44.
