The inevitable is upon us, my fellow Islander fans. This, the 2014-15 season, is the last at Nassau Coliseum. We have seen this coming for years now, but it doesn’t feel like now’s the time to shut the door on the place the Islanders have called home for every year of their existence.  The final 41 NHL regular season games to ever be played at the Coliseum have been scheduled, and the date that Isles fans have been dreading for a long time  has been set. That dreaded date is April 11, 2015. But let’s be optimistic and say that there will be many Stanley Cup Playoff Games played at the Madhouse on the Meadowbrook this season, shall we? Garth Snow has certainly put the team in position to make a playoff run with the moves he’s made this off-season.

When the schedule was released on June 22nd, there were games that immediately stuck out to me as “must watch” games. From the final first game at Nassau Coliseum to the final regular season game to ever be played at Nassau Coliseum, this list has you covered.
