4. The November Woes Continue

Over the years, November has become my least favorite month of the year and for one reason: the Islanders simply cannot win a hockey game during this month. November has been the pitfall of the Islanders since Jack Capuano took over for Scott Gordon in the 2010-2011 season. Last November had to be the worst of all for New York, as they posted a 2-11-2 record over that month, which also included a six game losing streak.

If this occurs again, Jack Capuano needs to be gone by the middle of the month because you cannot lose 11 games in one month and even have a pipe dream of making the playoffs. There is simply no explanation as to why this happens every year and this will need to change if the Islanders hope to dance this upcoming season.
