Question 6: If the Islanders could trade for one player, who would you want them to trade for and why?
Chris: Nick Leddy. He’s young, going to be very good, and wouldn’t cost all that much. Also, it’d make my sister mad because she’s a Blackhawks fan.
Kenny: Not that he is available, but I would love Andy Greene of the New Jersey Devils on my hockey team. Greene is a player on the rise, and after signing that big contract extension, I see big things in Andy Greene’s future.
Kevin: I’d like to see them pickup another top four defenseman, especially from a team that is lacking at the forward position. I can see Boston being a good partner for a guy like Matt Bartkowski or Johnny Boychuk. Losing Jarome Iginla presents a void up front for the Bruins, and should another top nine forward get hurt in camp, they may be willing to deal.
Michael: Jamie Benn. I mentioned him before and think he would be perfect with John Tavares. He’s young, gritty and possesses a deadly wrist shot.
