Question 7: Who will win the Connor McDavid sweepstakes?

Chris: Buffalo. From their own pick, not ours. They just aren’t going to be very good this year with the knowledge of that kid being available.

Kenny: I would have to go with the Winnipeg Jets. They basically added nothing to a team that wasn’t very good a year ago and any team that has Ondrej Pavelec as their starter won’t win too many hockey games. I like the young guys they have with the likes of Jacob Trouba, but they just don’t have enough to compete at this point.

Kevin: Calgary.

Michael: The Calgary Flames. They finished last season in 29th place and haven’t done much in the off-season to improve that. There is talent for the future with Sean Monahan and Johnny Gaudreau, but for the Flames sake let’s hope that talent doesn’t show up until 2015-16
