Lubomir Visnovsky: Last season the Islanders had some serious issues on the powerplay. This was largely due to the fact that veteran defenseman Lubomir Visnovsky missed most of the season due to concussion issues. In his absence, the Islanders were missing a puck moving defenseman and struggled to get offense from the blue line. If Visnovsky can stay healthy the Islanders will have a much-improved power play,  a big weakness a season ago.
