2. Mike Bossy

Mike Bossy was the greatest goal scorer in Islanders history and the lone gentleman on the team. He played only for the Isles during his career and tallied 573 goals. Incredibly though, he only played 10 seasons. As ridiculous a sniper as they come, Bossy tallied more than 50 goals in nine of his 10 seasons including a league leading 69 goals in 1979 and 68 goals in 1981. If it hadn’t been for a terrible back and weak knees Bossy could’ve been mentioned in the same breathe as the few immortals in NHL history.
