The Prediction: Islanders in 6

This is a tough matchup for both sides. Although both teams have their question marks relying on an older Jaromir Jagr and Roberto Luongo is too worrisome for me. For the Islanders John Tavres is hot at the right time, and overall they have been playing much better of late. It’s the Islanders who will breaking their 23 year streak without advancing.

Playoff action kicks off tonight for the Panthers and Islanders – tune it at 8PM. This series has a lot of great players to watch, and has the likelihood of going the distance.
