Aaron Ekblad is a Florida Panther to watch on the blue line.

The Panthers have some offensive minded defenseman and Aaron Ekblad is no slouch.

Ekblad had 15 goals in the regular season this year. The former Calder Trophy winner had no sophomore slump this season for the Panthers.

The Islanders are going to have to be wary of Aaron Ekblad. It’s tough when you have to worry about a defenseman who is a scoring threat. Not only do the Isles have to watch for the Panthers top forwards, they need to be ready in case Ekblad decides to let one rip.
