Number 3: Stadium Series

Remember freezing your butt off at Yankee Stadium? Remember the jerseys the Islanders wore that night? They became the alternates for the remainder of the 2014 season until 2015 the last year at the Coliseum.

They were simple, they had the Islanders original logo on the sleeve, they had the blue, white and orange color scheme but the logo on the chest was a little different which is what made these jerseys special.

The one thing I didn’t like from these was the white name plate on the back. It’s not enough to kill these jerseys though.

These are a decent alternate, they provide another look to the original jerseys which makes them stand out. Plus keeping the color scheme intact helps keep fans who don’t like change happy.
