A look around the web at the most recent New York Islanders news. Make Eyes On Isles your go to website for all things Islanders.

Well, tomorrow is August 1st which means it’s pretty much a long stretch of just waiting until hockey starts. There is slim likelihood that breaking news will happen and it’s all quiet on the New York Islanders front.

Islanders Insight pretty much summed this up. The only thing left is for Ryan Strome to sign so other than that it is a waiting game until puck drop.

The Islanders eventually will get Strome signed it’s just a matter of when. It’s not like the Ryan Fitzpatrick Jets saga thank God, but I do expect a deal to happen soon.

There isn’t a lot of Islanders stuff out there at the moment, not saying that other websites don’t put out great content because that’s far from true. I just wanted to drop in some of the work we’ve done lately that you should absolutely check out.

Our guy Michel Anderson took a look back at the Nino Niederreiter trade. He makes a compelling argument to why the trade still stings from the Islanders perspective. (Eyes On Isles)

Yesterday I went through the Islanders third jersey history and ranked them worst to best. Agree with me? If not tweet us with your ranking instead. (Eyes On Isles)
