A look around the web at the most recent New York Islanders news. Make Eyes On Isles your go to website for all things Islanders.

The New York Islanders first round selection, Kieffer Bellows has been impressive in his two games playing for USA in the 2016 NJEC. Bellows has had 6 points so far which has him tied for first as the point leader.

Bellows had an assist in the 5-1 US win over Canada. The kid has been impressive so far it seems like the Islanders found someone who has a real knack for finding and also creating scoring chances.

He will probably be a few years before we see him get any time with the Islanders but it’s always interesting to see how the prospects are doing.

The Islanders will have some prospects in the mix this year. Expect Ryan Pulock to have more of a role on the team and I expect Mathew Barzal to get a real shot at making the club.
