A look around the web at the most recent New York Islanders news. Make Eyes On Isles your go to website for all things Islanders.

So we weren’t the only ones concerned with Ryan Strome yesterday. Christopher Lizza raises the question if there is something a foot?

The point he is making is that the Islanders could potentially trade Strome in a deal for a top 6 forward. It may be unlikely but is it something to look in to? I mean everyone else has been signed since July.

After a bad year Ryan Strome probably doesn’t want to negotiate a long term deal. He’s better suited for signing something more a long the lines of a two year bridge deal.

I firmly believe that Ryan Strome will be an Islander this year. I think the deal eventually gets done, obviously sooner is better but I think we are just going to have to wait and see with Strome.
