How can Connor McDavid help the New York Islanders if he’s on the Edmonton Oilers? Well, he’s taken Islanders prospect Josh Ho-Sang under his wing. Ho-Sang goes to McDavid with questions that he has.

NHL.com had more on the story. The unfortunate oversleeping incident is something that Ho-Sang is still trying to live down.

So far he’s done a good job of proving himself a trustworthy player again. How can you not love Ho-Sang talking to not only McDavid but Tyler Seguin as well. Those are two premiere scorers in the league.

When will Josh Ho-Sang be ready? Questions on prospects being ready seem to be brought up all the time, as most fans get anxious to see them in action. It might be tough for him this year to make the team in a crowded forward group.

There’s no need to rush him, he’s still just 20 years old. He’ll be here soon enough, just be patient.
