A look around the web at the most recent New York Islanders news. Make Eyes On Isles your go to website for all things Islanders.

In most cases when we get a season preview it is from a source that covers the Islanders. Today we will look at an outside opinion on the Islanders for this upcoming season. An opinion from Stars And Sticks a Washington Capitals website.

They believe the Islanders will be in contention as long as John Tavares is healthy. But they don’t think they’ll be able to get past Washington or Pittsburgh.

It’s going to be a tough task for the Islanders in the playoffs. On paper the Metro Division seems to be really difficult.

The only difference is this year the Islanders have more experience when it comes to the playoffs. Especially with the additions of Jason Chimera and Andrew Ladd. The potential is there, lets see if the Isles will be able to make a run.
