A look around the web at the most recent New York Islanders news. Make Eyes On Isles your go to website for all things Islanders.

New York Islanders captain John Tavares scored twice for Team Canada as they got their revenge against Team USA. It’s good to see John Tavares already is in midseason form.

The sad part is to see how well Tavares played with Steven Stamkos. Stamkos is back in Tampa Bay and not in Brooklyn, but it just shows the potential of how much it can enhance his game.

Hopefully we see an elevated Tavares playing with Andrew Ladd and P.A. Parenteau. They are not the same level as Stamkos but the consistency in lines can only help Tavares build a chemistry and increase his scoring.

Another note for these games. It’s hard to find them on TV so a good alternative is going on Watch ESPN.
