New York Islanders Daily: Possible Line Combinations

A look around the web at the most recent New York Islanders news. Make Eyes On Isles your go to website for all things Islanders.
The New York Islanders showed a possible preview of their lines at practice yesterday. They were rather surprising:
Ladd-Tavares-Chimera
Bailey-Nelson-Beauvillier
Prince-Strome-Lee
Kulemin-Cizikas-Clutterbuck
Quine-Barzal
We knew Jason Chimera had spent some time on the top line, although initially a surprise it has become less of a surprise due to the predictability. Chimera is coming off a 40 point season so Jack Capuano slots him on the top line.

The next surprise is Anthony Beauvillier, he was a pleasant surprise in the preseason. He finds himself on the second line with Josh Bailey and Brock Nelson.
The Islanders are committed to Ryan Strome at the center position so it looks like Mathew Barzal won’t find a spot in the lineup. None of this is written in stone so it is nothing to get worked up about. The season will start in a few hours and all the speculation can be put to bed and we can discuss and analyze the actual on ice product. I can’t wait.
