New York Islanders Daily: Josh Ho-Sang Late Again

While the New York Islanders were playing in Caroline the Bridgeport Sound Tigers had a game as well. Although, they were missing one of their players.
Josh Ho-Sang, the New York Islanders talented but controversial prospect was late getting to the rink. Michael Fornabbaio who covers the Sound Tigers had the story and he said “It’s been handled.”
This isn’t the first time this has happened with Ho-Sang. We all remember the alarm clock story from the summer of 2014.
Then this year Ho-Sang has been scratched a few times due to his defensive play and puck control. It’s been pretty clear that the Islanders organization has been frustrated with Ho-Sang.

Then Incarcerated Bob dropped a line about the situation on twitter. He said that Garth Snow will look to trade Ho-Sang because he’s that frustrated with him.
I’ll say this, I would’ve liked to see Ho-Sang get a shot here, I think he can be a very talented player. Although the Islanders have a few talented prospects waiting. Mathew Barzal, Michael Dal Colle, Keiffer Bellows and even Anthony Beauvillier as well. The Islanders can afford to move a couple.
Plus, if you ever want to acquire that elite forward for John Tavares you’re probably going to have to part ways with one or more of these prospects. If Ho-Sang is in a deal that brings a quality player in here would it all be worth it?
He’s a talented kid make no mistake, but he’s been a headache for the Islanders during his tenure here.
