New York Islanders Daily: Need Help From Boston Bruins

The New York Islanders have played their way out of a playoff spot, so they will need some help to make it. Fans will look to Boston for help.
The New York Islanders are going to have to get some help in order to make the playoffs. Oddly enough the Isles can rely on the Boston Bruins in this situation as they have/had three games against possible playoff hopefuls.
Last night it was against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Unfortunately for the Isles they were unable to get the W. Though they play two more times both against the Lightning.
The Tampa Bay Lightning are banged up but are hanging tough. If they beat Tampa twice it’ll not only help the Isles in the Wild Card race but also hopefully will help them pull away from the Maple Leafs.

It’s not going to be easy but it’s still possible for the Islanders to make the playoffs. The best thing the Isles can do is just win each and every game possible.
It’s not easy to rely on other teams to get you in, you have to take advantage and win these games yourself.
