New York Islanders Daily: An Agent Running The Organization

The New York Islanders are clearly in need of someone to run the organization. Would they really let an agent run the team?
That seems like a dumb question on the surface. How could the New York Islanders let an agent run an organization? Then again this is the same organization that’s let a backup goalie run its operations for the past 11 years.
On the NHL Network Elliote Friedman said something interesting
Can you imagine letting your star player’s agent run the organization? I feel like that could go one of two ways.
He would either build an awesome team around John Tavares of all players that Tavares wants and the Islanders would be really successful. Or he’d pay his client a ton of money and the Isles would be in cap hell while looking like a circus with their star player and his agent running the show.

It’s just weird, sure Friedman said that Pat Brisson has said no but it’s crazy to think that the Isles even approached him about it. I guess if anything it just shows the lengths they will go to keep Tavares here.

The Isles have had a poor power play for…well a long time now, but Pulock can help the only issue is they won’t call him up.
