New York Islanders Daily: Partnership With ECHL’s Worcester Railers

The New York Islanders have partnered with the ECHL’s Worcester Railers for the 2017-2018 season. The deal was announced on Thursday.
For those that don’t know the ECHL is essentially another minor league system. Yesterday the New York Islanders announced their partnership for next year with the Worcester Railers.
Personally, I don’t know a ton about the ECHL. What I do know is the Worchester Railers logo is straight fire.

It’s a known fact that the only thing you should care about with a minor league or junior team is how cool the uniforms are. If we’re basing it off the logo shown here I can get down with it. Don’t be surprised if you see some of these uni’s at the Barc next year.
Here’s what the coach/general manager Jamie Russell had to say “The Islanders have a great track record of working with the ECHL We’re hoping this turns into a long-term relationship.”
The Isles system is expected to send a goalie a couple of defensemen and potentially a few forwards as well.
