Beauvillier’s Goal in Montréal
He already got the rookie treatment from his teammates. Coming back home for the first time as a bonafide NHL player, Beauvillier took to the pregame skate at the Bell Center alone. But the story didn’t end there for the Sorel-Tracy native.
Within five minutes of the game starting Beauvillier found himself with a ton of ice to skate in as Brock Nelson entered the Montéal zone. Nelson, head up, spotted number 72 ans sent him the puck.
Beauvillier with an open lane made no mistake and put the puck past Carey Price to put his team on the board first in front of friends and family.
And if that’s not enough for you. Beauvillier’s dad is caught on camera getting all misty eyed after his son’s goal. I don’t blame you, Mr. Beauvillier. It was a beautiful thing.
