As the NHL is getting set to unveil their new jerseys made by Adidas on June 21st, it’s time to look back into New York Islanders history and rank each jersey they’ve donned from best to worst.

The New York Islanders could be finding themselves with some new jerseys when the NHL and new kid in town, Addidas, release their next line of sweaters for the 2017-18 NHL season.

As many Islanders fans are anxiously waiting to see whether they will come out good, bad, or ugly, now is a great time to look back at some of the best and worst jerseys the New York Islanders have worn throughout their history.

Remember the Stan Fishler-esque Fisherman jerseys? That was an outstanding success… Don’t worry we’ll get to that iteration of Islanders folklore fairly shortly.

But before we begin, I’d like to give everyone a fair reminder that this is made with my own opinion, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, so this list may not be exactly the same as yours, but as they always say, let’s save the best for last, so lets start with the worst jersey the New York Islanders have ever worn.
