New York Islanders: Best and Worst Jerseys in Franchise History

Something a 5 Year Old Drew On The Train Ride To Brooklyn: 2015-17
The New York Islanders introduced a jersey that made fans wildly upset when the team first moved to Brooklyn in 2015, and I was one of those people.
The black color of the jersey is a far cry from the culture that the New York Islanders built in their 43 years on Long Island and is a literal carbon copy of the jerseys the Brooklyn Nets wear, and NOBODY wants to copy the Brooklyn Nets.
The entire jersey is a complete mess, with random white lines all over the jersey. I know the lines stand for the four Stanley Cups the Isles won back in the 80’s, but it’s contrived. a hideous helmet logo that tries to appease the Brooklyn Natives that didn’t go well, at all.
Thankfully Addidas and the NHL have agreed to remove all third jersey’s from production in 2016-17, so we won’t have to see them next season.
If you’re a fan head over to your local retailer to get them at a significant discount as the NHL gladly fazes them out.
