New York Islanders Daily: Reaction To Greatest NHL Team Vote

New York Islanders fans were displeased with the fact that their team was not represented enough in the Top 10 Greatest NHL Teams.
In case you missed it the Top 10 Greatest Teams list came out and there was not a lot of New York Islanders representation on the list. Just one Islanders team made the list oddly enough and it was the 1982-1983 team coming in seventh on the list.
Of course, Twitter had a reaction. So here are my favorite tweets from the evening. Enjoy.
Not. Even. Top. Three. #isles '82-83 made 7th. https://t.co/JwLTDFmuL3

#NYI #isles As usual the Islander fans forgot to vote for something they should have handily won going away.

If you saw them at their best, that’s all that matters. The rest is just noise. #Isles from 1977 until 1985 were the stuff of legend. #NYI https://t.co/shBKbmJh6J

The #isles are the worst marketed team in sports. Having our dynasty not in the top 5 is disgusting. 19 straight series wins and 0 respect

Winning 19 straight playoff series apparently doesn't get you much these days https://t.co/uoIcCTinyz

Anyone else think it's criminal that the #Isles only had 1 of the dynasty teams on the top ten greatest all time teams? #StanleyCup

No credibility to this. How does 4 of the oilers teams make it yet only 1 #isles team???

I'll take the @NYIslanders 80-83 19 straight playoff series 4 straight cups & 5 straight finals That's Just me ?#Isles https://t.co/ds7OHPSCpn

The tweets say it all…
That’s only the begging. Obviously, the Islanders are always overlooked and this is just more proof that their greatness in the 80’s is the most overlooked dynasty in all of sports. 19 straight playoff series won is insanity yet only one of those teams made the top 10 list? What a joke.
