The Eyes on Isles Podcast returns for episode number 27 as Matt and Mitch will discuss all things New York Islanders on and off the ice.

The New York Islanders won two out of their three games since we last spoke. There was even a milestone that happened, but is that worth celebrating or can we just worry about making the playoffs and winning a cup?

Between the on-ice play and the upcoming trade deadline approaching we will have a lot to discuss on the show.

Here’s what you can expect from episode 27:

Short Topics

1. Last Three Games NYR, CAR, MIN

The Islanders had two shutouts over these last three games but still gave up a ton of shots. As we’ve learned that’s not a recipe for success.

2. John Tavares has hit 600 points

John Tavares hit 600 career points. We’re going to look back on his time with the Islanders so far and if this is worth celebrating or not.

3. Josh Ho-Sang

Josh Ho-Sang was on the fourth line in Bridgeport the other day. We’ll get into why that’s a significant problem on so many levels.

Long Topic

With the trade deadline approaching, we’re going to place bets on the most likely scenarios for the trade deadline. Spoiler alert, it’s not going to be pretty.

Matt and Mitch will look over Isles Twitter and discuss the biggest talking points of the week.
