Brent Sutter

Brent is the fourth in the famous Sutter hockey dynasty. Where six of seven brothers played in the NHL. Selected 17th overall in 1980, Brent would play 694 games for the New York Islanders putting up 610 points.

His most productive season came in 1984-85 where he had 42 goals and 60 helpers for 102 points. A high he’d never come close to again.

Sutter maybe wasn’t as skilled as some of the other guys in the lineup. Guys like Bryan Trottier or Butch Goring, but he was just as important. Sutter was the depth player any
