It’s the first vote of our elite eight for this year’s New York Islanders March Madness fan vote. Our number one seeds both moved on to the quarter-finals. Can they move on?
It’s March Madness time and that means anyone and everyone is doing a bracket about just anything. We’ve been doing it for a few seasons now and this time around we’re asking fans to vote on the top Islanders storylines in 2017-18.
It’s not complicated. Every day we send out two tweets with two storylines each. What we want to know is what you think is the more important storyline this season.
In this round we asked you:
Is Tavares’ extension, or lack thereof more important than how bad the Islanders goalies have been this season?
Is the announcement of the Belmont arena more important than sending Josh Ho-Sang down to the AHL at the start of the season?
After a full day of voting, we come back here and try to interpret how it all shook out. So far we’ve had two upsets so the surprise level has been low. Hopefully, now that we get into the later stages things might get a bit more unpredictable.
