The Eyes on Isles Podcast returns for episode number 52 as Matt and Mitch will discuss all things New York Islanders on and off the ice.

Another week has flown by and it’s time to start prepping for some New York Islanders talk on the Eyes on Isles Podcast. Episode 52 is a big deal for us, we’ve done 52 straight weeks (also known as a year) of Islanders podcasts.

Everything we’ve done so far with the pod has been a blast and we couldn’t do it without you, the listener. For me, the highlight of this past year has to be the live show. It was awesome to see people come out to hear us do a show and we were able to raise money for America’s VetDogs in the process which I’ll forever be proud of.

On this week’s episode, we’ll get into Noah Dobson’s entry-level contract, why Belmont being ready for 2021 is a huge deal, who will be most likely to bounce back in 2018-2019 and the Mike Milbury all trade team.

Here’s what to expect with episode 52:

Topics

Noah Dobson Signs his ELC

Noah Dobson signed his entry-level contract. At three years for $925,000 per year does Dobson have a chance to make the team out of camp or will he head on back to Juniors before coming over in 2019?

Belmont confirmed for 2021

Lou Lamoriello confirmed that the Islanders will be in Belmont for the 2021 season. We’ll talk about why it’ll make them a destination.

Bounce back players in 2018-2019

We have five guys who are most likely to bounce back this year. We’ll discuss and we’ll ask you if you agree or not.

Mike Milbury all-time trade team

Mike Milbury was one of the worst GM’s to grace God’s green earth. Someone put together an all-time trade list and it’s pretty scary.

Social

In the social segment, we’ll answer questions and talk about the biggest stuff from Isles Twitter this past week.
