The Eyes on Isles Podcast returns for episode number 56 as Matt and Mitch will discuss all things New York Islanders on and off the ice.

It’s time for another episode of the Eyes on Isles Podcast, as the New York Islanders gear up for another training camp starting this week. Mitch and I will be discussing some PTO’s and hitting on some of Lou Lamoriello’s comments.

We’ll kick things off hitting on the biggest questions heading into 2018-2019 training camp. Also, the Islanders brought in a couple veterans on PTO’s so we’ll chat about if any of them deserve to make the roster.

Here’s what to expect from episode 56:

Topics

Training Camp Questions

The Islanders brought in Dennis Seidenberg and Luca Sbisa on a PTO, do either of them make the team? Does Jan Kovar belong in the NHL? And can Kieffer Bellows and Josh Ho-Sang make the team?

Tavares wants a warm reception

Tavares is hoping for a nice reaction when he returns to play the Islanders. We’ll chat about why he’s so unaware of everything.
