New York Islanders Daily: Ryan Pulock Thrives In Win Over Rangers

Last night the New York Islanders beat their cross-town rival Rangers 4-3 in overtime. Ryan Pulock led the charge for the blue and orange.
Ryan Pulock had a coming out party in his rookie year for the New York Islanders in 2017-2018. It was a long, complicated road before getting there but he finally got his chance and he thrived last season.
He ended up finishing with 32 points (10 goals, 22 assists) in 68 games. With the likelihood of a full 82 season coming up this season, Pulock has dominated in the preseason as well.
Last night, Pulock scored two goals in the Islanders overtime win over the New York Rangers. It was goal number three and four for d-man of the preseason. He’s playing like a man possessed and he’s showing flashes of what he can do in the regular season.
It’s no secret, Ryan Pulock can produce offensively and he’s likely to eclipse his point total of 32 this year if he plays every day. With 10 goals last year, a 15 spot really isn’t that too crazy to think about for Pulock.
Pulock will likely start on the second pair and get a solid chunk of minutes in his second year, including power play time. He’s ready for it. At 24-years-old Ryan Pulock should be the centerpiece of this defense for years to come.
