The Eyes on Isles Podcast returns for episode number 66 as Matt and Mitch will discuss all things New York Islanders on and off the ice.

Since the New York Islanders are taking on their crosstown rival New York Rangers tomorrow night we’re going to record the podcast tonight so we don’t have to do three shows after the game. It helps spread out the content for you guys also.

We’ll get the conversation cooking by talking about Michael Dal Colle’s call-up. Then we’ll get into some Anthony Beauvillier and why he’s heating up at exactly the right time.

Even though the Isles are struggling right now they’re owning the Metro Division, so we’ll talk about what that means going forward. Lastly, the down on the farm segment returns.

Here’s what you can expect from episode 66:

Topics

Michael Dal Colle

Dal Colle got the call-up for the Islanders and played just one game against the Stars. Mitch and I will discuss how the Islanders did him no favors.

Anthony Beauvillier hot streak

Anthony Beauvillier has four goals in the last two games. After starting ice cold it’s perfect to have him heating up at the right time.

Metro Rulers

The Islanders are 7-0-0 against the Metro Division. How are they doing this and what does that mean for the future of the playoff race?

Down on the farm

We will look at the farm system and how the Isles prospects are looking so far.

Social Segment

In the social segment, we’ll answer questions and talk about the biggest stuff from Isles Twitter this past week.
