New York Islanders 2018-19 Roster 5 Best Contracts

5. Anthony Beauvillier
Cap Hit: $894,167
Production: 8 points, 21 games
That production sounds low for a winger playing in the Islanders top six. And it true, it is. But after a 16 game stint with just a single point, Beau has turned it up recently.
In his last five games Beauvillier has five goals and seven points. That’s right. Beauvillier is scoring at a rate of 1.4 points-per-game.
It seems that after a very slow start to the season Beau is back to that killer form from the second-half season of 2017-18. And Beau is making $894,167 on the Islanders cap.
Just like Mathew Barzal, Anthony Beauvillier is taking up less than a million on the cap but is returning top six production.

To top that all off, the New York Islanders acquired Anthony Beauvillier in a trade with the Edmonton Oilers for Griffin Reinhart. The Isles packaged a second from Edmonton and one of their own for Tampa’s first (28th overall in 2015) that they used on Beauvillier.
