New York Islanders: Eyes on Isles Podcast Ep 68 Preview

The Eyes on Isles Podcast returns for episode number 68 as Matt and Mitch will discuss all things New York Islanders on and off the ice.
Another week has come and gone in New York Islanders land and the Eyes on Isles Podcast is ready to recap it all. The big story obviously is Mitch’s trip down to New York to take in the Islanders game at the Coliseum.
William Nylander is no longer in limbo so we’ll discuss the impact that it has on some RFA’s in the Islanders system. The Isles power play problems are next up on the agenda and boy do we have a lot to unpack there.
Cal Clutterbuck is still getting power play time while Mathew Barzal and Josh Ho-Sang are just wasting away. It’s Christmas time so what does our wishlist look like?
Here’s what to expect for episode 68:
Topics
Nassau Coliseum
We’re gonna go over the tailgate and everything else that we did in the pregame. Also, the atmosphere was fantastic so we’ll chat about that too.
Impact of the Nylander Signing
The William Nylander dream is finally dead. He’s re-signed so what does that mean for the future Islanders RFA’s like Mathew Barzal, Anthony Beauvillier, and Ryan Pulock.
Power Play
The Islanders special teams, more specifically the power play is an absolute dumpster fire. Cal Clutterbuck is getting more power play time than Mathew Barzal. Usually, you want to have your best player on the ice as much as possible.
Christmas List To Santa
Our Islanders wishlist to Santa. Mitch and I are gonna go into it who or what we will change for the Islanders.
Social
In the social segment, we’ll answer questions and talk about the biggest stuff from Isles Twitter this past week.
Next. Barzal penalty proves costly
