We hope all of you had a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! With that being said, the Eyes on Isles podcast returns tonight to discuss all things New York Islanders as the Isles currently enjoy their Christmas Break.

This past week we saw Devon Toews enjoy his NHL debut with a great deal of success. As Michael Dal Colle continues his hot streak his trade value is rising by the second. Since we’re in the break, we will also discuss expectations at this point in the season along with the best/worst moments of the season.

Devon Toews made his long-awaited debut for the New York Islanders this week. He performed very well and looks to have earned the trust of his coach.

Michael Dal Colle

With 25 points in 26 games, Michael Dal Colle has dominated in the AHL. He’s single-handedly improving his value and the Islanders would be smart to capitalize on that.

Expectations at this point

At the Holiday break, the Islanders have exceeded many people’s expectations. What should the fans expect from the Isles going forward?
