In a word: No

I was asked two questions when I joined the Eyes on Isles writers last summer – to fix this team, who should the Isles go after for their goalie and who should they go after on the blue line? My answer was a bit bland, but it has not changed one bit.

We already had/have the players we need.

The Islanders had Lehner and Greiss, and the same core group of defensemen as last year (I don’t count de Haan since he was out for most of the year), but they now had real coaches, proper management and a vision towards stability (arena, ownership, etc).

Nothing has changed, except the results are much better than most saw coming. Because of that, it seems almost insane to shake it up. The only exception I’ll make is if Lou can conjure up magic and unload a Ladd contract.
