Every week we find five New York Islanders plays that got fans out of their seats. Here’s our top from January 26th to February 3rd, 2019.

Yes, January 26th to February 3rd is longer than a single week. But with the All-Star break and with the New York Islanders being out of action for the week following it there was very little to go on. So one week became two.

Don’t worry, now that the Islanders are back the games are going to be coming at you fast. Over the next 12 nights, the Islanders play seven times with a back-to-back.

If not for a Canadian West coast road trip, the Islanders wouldn’t have anything longer than a two-day break for the month of February.

The month of March is even busier with 16 games in 31 days. That’s a game every other night on average.

We may not have had New York Islanders hockey for the better part of two weeks, but for the next two months, we’re going to get a ton of it.

So, even though the New York Islanders only played two games (and Mathew Barzal played the All-Star game) there’s enough there for a top five plays.

Goals, runs, and a crushing hit all made the list for the last two weeks.
