New York Islanders: Top 3 Overrated Players On Roster

Taking a look at three guys New York Islanders fans tend to overrate. Just because a player is overrated doesn’t mean they’re bad.

It’s been an entertaining season for the New York Islanders this year. They’ve overachieved expectations and currently find themselves with 93 points in second place in the Metropolitan Division.

Barry Trotz has done a wonderful job this year, getting the most out of this team. It’s clear with their roster that they shouldn’t be this good but they’ve been in a playoff spot almost the entire way this year.

While a lot of guys have begun to overachieve, like the two goalies, for instance, some players have disappointed and have even been overrated by fans.

Fans are usually extremely biased towards there own players and play favorites but when taking a step back it’s pretty easy to see who on this team is overrated in the eyes on the fans and sometimes in the eyes of the team.

Today, we’ll take a look at three specific players and why some believe they are better than they truly are:
