The New York Islanders have an incredible prospect pool. For the first time, in a long time were all excited with what’s coming up over the next few years. Here are the Isles top five prospects.

The New York Islanders prospect pool has never been as strong as it is now. The Islanders have blue-chip prospects in just about every position on the ice. Some might be a few years out before possibly featuring in the NHL, others aren’t.

For all the talk of free agents and trade targets, the Islanders can also look internally to address some of their issues around the roster.

Taking a look at their system there are five players that standout among all the others. These five Islanders prospects are either NHL ready today, are close to being ready, or are simply very promising.
