Trade rumors that could interest the New York Islanders are hard to find when the Stanley Cup final starts. But there’s a rumor that has come back to life.

With the Stanley Cup final just underway, finding trade rumors that could interest the New York Islanders hasn’t been easy. So what I’ve done is gone back on a few that I’ve done recently.

To be fair, they’ve been the big talk around the NHL right now. The Pittsburgh Penguins trying to trade winger Phil Kessel and the Minnesota Wild trying to deal winger Jason Zucker.

Both are great wingers that could complement the New York Islanders top six. So how can they land them, and what’re the latest rumblings on both players?

I’ll give you the update on each and give a different trade proposal than the one that I provided for either player a few weeks ago.
