New York Islanders Seven-Round 2019 NHL Mock Draft

With the 2019 NHL Draft tomorrow, we will look at a full seven-round mock draft for the New York Islanders.

The NHL Draft is one of the most fun events of the hockey season. There are big-time prospects being selected, trades left and right, and usually one or two big surprises along the way to make it an entertaining weekend. This weekend should be no different for the New York Islanders.

This year, the draft takes place in Vancouver with the first round starting tomorrow night at 8:00 pm and rounds two through round seven taking place all day Saturday.

Last year’s draft was a little bit higher profile for the Islanders. They had the Tavares drama looming over their heads, they had four picks in the first two rounds, and some man by the name of Lou Lamoriello was in charge.

This year, the Islanders have the 23rd overall pick in the first round, a second round pick and then no more picks until the fifth round. That’s of course if there aren’t any trades. This mock draft will operate under the assumption that there are no trades and that they are picking with only the picks they currently have.

Here’s how I have the Islanders draft shaking out:
