Lines

Lee – Barzal – Eberle

Galchenyuk – Nelson – Bailey

Beauvillier – Cizikas – Ho-Sang

Martin – Komarov – Clutterbuck

Pelech – Pulock

Toews – Mayfield

Hickey – Boychuk

Lehner

Greiss

Scratches: Tanner Fritz, Ross Johnston, Sebastian Aho

LTIR: Andrew Ladd

I’m pretty confident in this lineup for the Islanders. Adding Galchenyuk makes the top-six and power play instantly better. We knew Tom Kuhnhackl wasn’t a long-term fix in that role, and Jordan Eberle should have a bounce-back year.

That third line I like a lot too. Cizikas deserves to play on a line with a little more talent and Beauvillier and Ho-Sang have proved to work well in the past, adding them with a defensive specialist in Cizikas could work wonders.

The defensive pairing minus Leddy should be just fine. Devon Toews should be a younger, more effective version of Leddy now anyway.

Next. Alex Galchenyuk Trade Rumors

Yes, there’s no Panarin or Marner in this scenario but it’s a “realistic” take on what the Islanders roster can look like in 2019-2020 and honestly I’m pretty satisfied with it.
